S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 is underway! The 21 finalists of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 are all in Milan ready to compete in the biggest culinary challenge of a lifetime.
At 7am this morning the first group of 7 young chefs under 30 stepped into their kitchens to prepare their signature dish under the watchful eye of their mentors.
After non stop cooking for 5 hours, the 7 young chefs presented their signature dish to the Seven Sages, a jury of top international chefs with the challenging task of deciding who will win the title of S.Pellegrino Young Chef.
The first finalists of the morning were Antonio Buono from France, Anton Husa from Scandinavia-Baltics, David Andres from Spain and Portugal, Benjamin Mauroy-Langlais from Canada, Constadina Voulgari from the Mediterranean countries, John Taube IV from USA and Jake Kellie representing South East Asia.

In the afternoon, it will be up to the second group of young chefs to present their signature dish. John Rivera (Pacific), Yasuhiro Fujio (Japan), Chanwai Poon (China), Marcin Popielarz (Eastern Europe), Ruslan Evstigneev (Russia), Frédéric Chastro (Benelux) and Zih Yang Chen (Northeast Asia).
